The All Black & Blues was formed in 2013 from a rag-tag group of NHS staff who wanted to raise money for some very worthwhile causes. Through the hard work of the team and the continued encouragement of our supporters we have raised more money than we thought we could and had a fantastic time doing it.

Most of our team are current staff working for NHS Ayrshire & Arran in a variety of roles with a small handful of others including Paramedics from the Scottish Ambulance Service.

Some of our team currently play for local clubs such as Ardrosan, Irvine, Kilmarnock and Millbrae RFC. We also have a number of players who have only ever played for the ABABs. We are very much a social team who enjoy playing friendly matches and raising money for good causes. We play off-season and generally have a handful of warm-up friendlies prior to our big game of the year.

If you would be interested in playing for us and helping us to raise money then please get in touch. We always look forward to a fun, good natured game.

We are not a part of any NHS body and are not directly funded or governed by the NHS. We have adopted the name as we are predominantly made up of NHS staff and raise money for NHS causes. We do receive support from at least one NHS Trust.
